Close your eyes and think back the 2020 lockdown in the end of May in New Jersey when you couldn’t go to a retail store, to school, get elective surgery, and you couldn’t get together without standing 6 feet apart.
Then on May 25th 2020, George Floyd was murdered in Minnesota, and pandemic restrictions magically didn’t matter any more. You were now permitted to go to government approved protests and gather with as many people as you liked without the fear of killing grandma. Even Governor Murphy ignored his own 6’ rule to march in a BLM protest, standing close together, in large crowds of people, even though just the week before he was calling people knuckleheads for not following his rules.
Murphy was willing to break his own Executive orders to join in protests. It was clear that the pandemic laws were put on pause for BLM protests and we switched from the virus idology right, on through to the anti-racist ideology. And although school was still online, many schools decided to send the children anti-racism propaganda in the wake of Floydd’s death, as in the case of Mountain Lakes School District (“MLSD”) in New Jersey.
The Principal of Mountain Lakes High School, Frank Sanchez (no longer the principal today), forwarded an email containing a pamphlet he authored entitled, “Seeking Justice from Reflection to Action” to students. The pamphlet encouraged “anti-racist” ideology and suggested the existence of “systemic racism”, within the school district.
On that same day the pamphlet was distributed, Sanchez sent a video to all students, which was described in the complaint, as a “call to arms” and promoted the concept of “white privilege”.
One of the parents in the school felt these emails were “overtly racial messaging, treating individuals differently in terms of the ‘official’ perception of them, based on their race and color. They felt the emails were hostile in nature, and caused damage to students by going against their constitutional rights not to be discriminated against based on race and/or color.” The parents also claimed this video was “political messaging” and called for students “to act”, while also “compelling students to attend rallies for Black Lives Matter political movement, thus adding to the hostile nature of the video with respect to individuals with so-called white skin”.
This parent engaged the Law Firm Murray-Nolan, LLC, to file a suit against officials of the Mountain Lakes School District (“MLSD”), on June 6, 2022, in the United States Federal Court for the District of New Jersey on their behalf. The suit alleges “open racial discrimination in some of its educational programming, wherein it has forced a racial political ideology” which violates Title VI of the United States Code, as well as other laws and creates a “hostile educational environment.”
The suit states that the programming in the video shared by the principal included in statements such as, “…white children are receiving coded and sometimes direct messages all the time about their racial superiority” and that MLSD needs to “teach about white people’s roles in perpetuating racism”. Thought the parents claim there is no such racism existing within the school.
The complaint states that Sanchez was informed that this type of messaging violated law and policy, as well as Section 2224 of the MLSD Policy Manual, which prohibits school districts from discriminatory practices by reason of race and that the messaging was illegally promoted by targeting a class of people by race. Section 6121 of the MLDS Policy Manual also states that “materials which are biased or stereotyped shall not be used within the District”. The complaint also alleges that this type of activity puts federal funding to the District at risk and potentially exposes MLSD to lawsuits, while citizens are compelled to financially support the District.
Additionally outrageous, an e-mail chain between MLSD and another group known as “MLBT” (or Mountain Lakes Boonton Township Equity Student/ Alumni Committee) indicated that “anti-racism”, “systematic inequality”, “white privilege”, along with changes to the curriculum and school holidays would be discussed in support of this ideology. Parents who raised concerns for this change, on multiple occasions, did not seem to be taken seriously. It is believed that the concerns of a minority of parents were ignored as a matter of MLSD policy.
The school continued to double down on its anti-racist policies with an MLSD sponsored a workshop called, “Creative Options for Progressive Educators”, on August 11, 2020. The lawsuit alleges this was done to perpetuate the idea of “white privilege” and negative stereotypes of so-called white people. It is further alleged that this workshop suggested that white racism “commences at or near birth”. The cost of this workshop was paid for, at least in part, from local, state or federal government funding.
On November 16. 2020, another webinar entitled “Does the ‘Matters’ Movement Matter in Mountain Lakes?”, which the law suit alleges to contain the same type of content, being political in nature and reinforcing the concepts of “whiteness” and “white privilege”. The complaint states that the parent, was advised by MLSD Attorney, Steven Fogarty, that the webinar was sponsored by the Mountain Lakes Police Department and that MLSD was invited to participate. The plaintiff parent follow up with, the Mountain Lakes Chief of Police and it was found out that that they did not sponsor the event.
The complaint specifically alleges violations of Title VI and requests injunctive relief; violation of 42 USC 1981 (hostile educational environment); violation of N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq. (Law Against Discrimination); violations of the civil rights of J.L. and those similarly situated (N.J.S.A. 10:6-2 et seq.); violations under the “color of law” and violations of 1st Amendment rights (42 U.S.C. 1983 and 1st Amendment); and, additional violations under the “color of law” with regard to equal protection (42 USC 1983 and 14th Amendment). The complaint requests a declaratory judgment and injunctive and other relief.

Anti-Racist Lessons
🤡🌏 ... ah yes who can forget when we could not have a wake or funeral for my grandfather, and my kid’s prom and graduation were cancelled because of the deadly Covid ... but then here comes Deep State Phil and his trashy wife and kid marching for BLM. Because.... science?? This gets me riled up all over again. I hate this guy so much ...
This is such blatant tyranny . Its going to get worse especially for September. If parents don't ban together, take their kids out of these schools, these generations are completely lost. They will become criminals at all levels. There have always been fights among children, teenagers, but it will get even worse since they are learning pornography.
If parents don't save them, who will.
