Fix Ineffective Quarantine Policies
NJDOH is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results
The quarantine policies are an elaborate illusion. The guidance from the NJ Department of Health recommends you quarantine any unvaccinated close contact, while vaccinated students and staff do not need to quarantine. Districts are arguing over 10 days versus 5 days, 3 feet vs 6 feet, masked or unmasked, but WAIT...
There are now 4 brave Districts that have successfully ABOLISHED these policies from their schools entirely.
Check out their letters to the community here:
Montague Township, Sussex County
Union Township, Hunterdon County
Middletown Township, Monmouth County
Franklin Township, Gloucester County
There will soon be more…
How did they do it? Well the quarantine guidelines are just GUIDANCE from the NJDOH. It is not covered in any Executive Order. The only other entity that has the ability to enforce a quarantine is your local County Health Department.
The Health Departments can issue directives that have legal implications but if they have NOT, the decision lies with your District! If your school is in one of the same counties as these Districts above, your District can make the SAME policy.
These decisions are grounded in science and supported by data as less than 1% of quarantined students go on to test positive for COVID. Make the case to your schools to keep healthy children in school, especially since they are already so far behind academically.
In the coming weeks, more Districts will likely follow once the word gets out that this is possible. Please GO to your BOE meeting and bring these examples with you. Show them what other districts are doing
Also, Help us spread that word to your Districts and on social media!
Share these letters and policies far and wide!
I just listned to a webinar from california from the Unity project. These murphy exec orders are an overreach and obuse of power. Cant we find an attorney and judge and file an injunction against the gov to stop the mandate and repeal the exec order?
