Your child’s personal data is being collected, and schools don’t even have to send a permission slip home. Panorama Education Inc. is a government contractor hired by school districts to assess students’ “social and emotional learning” through questionnaires with all kinds of invasive questions on drugs, gender, sexual orientation and views on racial and politically charged issues.
Last September, questionnaires were sent to students in the North Hunderdon High school (a Voorhees School district). The parents were able to opt-out their highschoolers from this survey, however, there is no law preventing schools from asking your child invasive questions in order to mine your family data. And you as a parent, don’t even have the right to have access to your child’s responses. Sadly, ost parents don’t even go though the trouble to opt-out of these questionnaires because they trust the schools with their children.
Some of these questions are similar to those used by doctors to assess depression and anxiety, however schools are not certified to be a mental health clinic nor have the resources to manage your child’s mental health.
Having parents “opt out” is not the same as an “opt in” process and its a sneaky way for the school to get more respondents for their questionnaire.
In the State of New Jersey, you have to pay attention to every little detail when you send your child to a public school.

Thank you so much for these write-ups. It is very important this information be presented in an organized, verifiable manner. Two years ago I knew these types of "surveys" were already being given to kids, and they were actively planning, forcefully pushing ahead with more utilization. There is no efficient way to make this known to the general population. Everything is linked, most concerned parents are now dealing only with the gross sexual content they just got wind of, and are nowhere near understanding the bigger picture.
Thank you for your great blog - Not sure if parents are aware Cedar Grove won a lawsuit against their district for the surveys they sent to children. There's a YouTube video about it called "The Survey" I believe.
