That’s me, bottom left. I never knew how much I actually resembled my firstborn until I saw myself dressed like him. Wow.
Oh and also-I was not the pitcher. This picture was shared by a much more athletic old friend. I was way in right field, always had the body of a reader, and the mind of a writer. Words gave me courage, and putting pen to paper can be so powerful, when you are willing to leave it all on the field for your team.
I use my words to advocate for my most important clients, my two sons. I make pitches with words, I strike people out with legal briefs.
We can all change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but you can change the world for your children. How? Teach them your best skills. We are all born with skills and talents. And as different as we all may be, when we form a team, we can move mountains.
You all are my team. My mama bears, dad squad, empress grandmas, and grizzly grandpas. The aunts & uncles who listen to our gripes, the lawyers who strategize, the medical professionals who tell us the truth.
I believe we have reached the point of organization in the Child Advocate Coalition LLC where we can all be proud of the accomplishments our collective efforts have achieved.
And still there is work ahead, but that’s a good thing, now. We are in the driver’s seat this election. Our New Jersey Republican Party is listening, messaging well, and working hard to make legislative changes.
They need our help.
I went crazy last March, trying to figure out how to fix everything, all in my own head. I wanted to fix the Country, the State, the Schools…but it was too big of a job to tackle alone.
Luckily I met all of you. We pooled our resources and now we can truly look back and say, we did this TOGETHER.
So don’t quit now-we are just starting to pull ahead. In fact, let’s go crazy again, it’s March Madness time!
Here’s the Week One Game Plan: 7 Jobs for 7 Days
Ed Durr. Everything Ed Durr. Get on the phone to Senate President Scutari & Senate Joe Vitale and push them to list Bill S1106.
RSVP for Ed’s fundraiser OR send him a $20.22 donation to keep his re-election efforts going. He’s been going to bat for us big time, so we need to keep him at the forefront of our team of allies.
Make a plan to attend your next Board of Education meeting. The devil is in the details. Don’t allow the BOE to sneak in segregation of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated students. Watch out for “healthy kids stay” policies that still include masking at Day 6-10 for students, but not staff, as we found in the recently-issued guidance
Join your local Republican club. Sorry Democrats, I just don’t trust you to get this next election right. We need everyone to unite behind A party willing to speak our language to protect our kids, and I only hear it from one side. So join the local club, go to a meeting, get to know the leadership team. Think about running for county committee. It’s not hard! I won with 3 votes!!
Pick your candidate. Figure out your Congressional District then get behind a primary candidate. Knock doors, make calls, bring them to your board meetings and push them to advocate for national policy changes, like requiring any product under Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA can ONLY be used if there is an ongoing, randomized clinical trial. Our children have been trial subjects for two years. Where is the safety data? Adverse effects? We kept the evidence…the results need to be published, or the practice abolished.
Those heavy hitters? The candidates? They can talk about unfunded mandates from the Department of Education as well. I heard from Mayor John Flora, running in CD-7 that for every ELEVEN cents sent to the States by the Federal Government, it costs the States FIFTEEN cents to implement the requirements to get the funds. Basic math here, time to defund the Department of Education and return control to our local and State authorities. Bad return on investment there.
Bring a Congressional candidate to your BOE meeting! We were joined by Bob Healey Jr (CD3) in Medford last night, and I know it was interesting twist for our Board! Try it!
There has been a great response from the Congressional candidates to our requests, so reach out! Candidates like John Flora, Mike Blasi, Patricia Kline, Scott Hitchner Jr, Greg Mele, and Phil Rizzo have been great advocates for parents across the state.
Just imagine if you showed up with this guy! Ian Smith has been openly speaking out message of freedom and promised me to be on the side of unmasking our children.
Invite 5 friends to read this Newsletter. We have many projects to accomplish as a team. It’s 2019 or bust. Let’s get the lives of healthcare workers, public employees, retail and restaurant workers, and all those subjected to mandates back to normal. No more second-class citizens waiting on us, or restricting patients from having visitors.
It all can end well, and we can do it together.
#OperationFreedom is in full effect.
