The CALI score is the trash out of the NJDOH, run by infamous Judy Persichilli, that was made to keep masks coming back to NJ schools.
Governor Murphy, Judy and the clowns at the NJDOH have decided to place the blame of community spread on children and force them to mask when they have virtually no risk of death or serious long term injury from the disease.
This CALI metric has 0 basis in science, it is an un-validated, untested scoring system designed to keep us in a state of pandemic. In the below image, the NJDOH explains that during a community outbreak (according to the CALI score), schools should impose masks on students and staff… but they use SAFE words like, “RECOMMEND” or “SHOULD”, so when your school forces masks, the school can blame the DOH… but then the DOH can blame your school by saying “its just a suggestion”. Its the circle of government unaccountability. Keep in mind when you read below that the transportation mandate is no longer required since the federal mandate was struck down in a Florida Court.
Here’s something that I need to point out, the NJ DOH is working with the NJDOE to keep the NJEA happy. All these letter organizations are inflicting unnecessary hardship on your kids. Notice the DOH also uses words like “SHOULD”, leaving it up to your district.
The fight is in your town at your local school board. You need to go to meetings and even RUN for BOE so that you can keep your kids from being forced to mask for some made up reason that has to do with keeping the E$$R funds flowing to the state. COVID is now mutated into a cold. How much longer are pretending that these masks stop spread when all available evidence proves that they do not do anything but make people ‘feel’ safe.
