When an 11-year-old picks up a book in the Middle School Library should it contain R-rated sexual content?
Normal people would answer “no”, but there is this misguided push to introduce sexual content to children in the name of “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”.
In Sparta NJ, an 11-year-old found the book “The Upside of Unrequited” by Becky Albertalli in the school library and wanted to check it out and take it home, but the librarian wouldn’t let her because only eighth grade students could take it home. The child could however read it in the library where she could learn about orgies and orgasms, explicit discussion of waxing genitalia, how one loses their virginity regarding specific sex acts, underage drinking and mixing alcohol with prescription drugs.
FUN!
What happened to books on “LIKING” and “LIKE LIKING” each other in middle school? Why do these “LGBTQ+” books jump right to the hard core porn and drug use?
New Jersey needs a rating system for books. If a minor can’t watch a movie about orgies then they shouldn’t be reading about orgies either.
The term is more correct as “diversity, inclusion , equity” DIE .....
This is grooming. To lessen the shock value of evil so it can infiltrate.
Must be eradicated from public “schools of learning” where NJEA, Planned Parenthood, LGBTQ, broke woke, etc evil is weaseling in
