Candidate Spotlight

This is MY first candidate pick and of course it is outside the NJ 2 party system. Nick Manger is a fellow libertarian and actively involved in the fight for our kids and our freedoms. He is all about school choice, anti corruption, pro constitution, lower taxes and getting YOUR voice heard. Who wouldn’t love this? Please read his empowering responses and you’ll be as thrilled as I am that he is running in New Jersey.  

Nik: Who are you?

Nicholas:  Nicholas Magner, Libertarian candidate for State Assembly of Legislative District 4.

Nik: Why are you running?

Nicholas:   First and foremost, I’m running for State Assembly, because I want to make NJ more free for my children.  There is no greater gift to give your children than freedom, and I plan on doing just that.  New Jersey is in this current climate because the two major parties have destroyed NJ with terrible policy, always increasing taxes, and close to comatose complacency.  It’s abhorrent.

Nik: What is your stance on parental choice for medical freedom in schools?

Nicholas:  When it comes to the public school system (government schools), it’s riddled with corruption, overspending, and has a sick appetite for controlling your children.  There should be no other option than School Choice.  A model where the funding follows the student is the only fair way for parents to have control over their children’s education.  Additionally, we should have a say when on average 60% of our property taxes are being stolen from us and put into government schools.  Modern day schools are weapons of mass instruction.

Nik: What is your favorite Amendment?

Nicholas:  I am privy to the 2nd Amendment because I believe it’s the failsafe that protects the Constitution, but to be honest, my favorite part is the Bill of Rights in its entirety.  As far as I’m concerned every amendment should be held in the same regard.  All amendments serve a purpose that if followed, steer us on the right path.

Nik: Give me your best pitch on why and how we can support your campaign?

Nicholas:  I don’t want your money.  I want everyone reading this to become a staple of their community and build at the local, grassroots level.  Want to support my campaign?  Show up to your local board meetings en masse, make sure your voice is heard and become an activist.  We make our community, not the corrupt politicians that have been sitting on our town councils for 15 years.  Take your children out of government schools, do not comply, and be civilly disobedient.
