Everything they don't like is extremist misinformation

Apparently the NJEA is so beside themselves that New Jersey has a grass roots super pac of parents supporting other parents running for BOE, that they decided to bring it up at the NJEA President’s meeting in an attempt to discredit the New Jersey Project as “Spreading and Supporting Misinformation.”

What misinformation?… they never say. The NJEA can’t give specifics or they would have to admit to gaslighting parents and the public into believing their lies about masks and the new school sex curriculum.

The NJEA is concerned about “the type” of education are we supporting at the New Jersey Project. What do we support?

• a strong academic foundation in ELA, math, science and history without decisive political and social agendas

• closing the gap on the learning loss created by Murphy’s mandates in 2020 and 2021

• resisting overreach of government officials, teachers unions, and bureaucrats seeking to interfere with parents rights and authority over their school aged children

• protecting the innocence of our children by rejecting the introduction of age inapropate sexual content in the classroom

• protecting parental authority to choose health and wellness interventions for their children

• opening the lines of communication, improve transparency and encourage collaboration between parents and the board of education

The NJEA doesn’t want any of this?

Strange.

No one takes the NJEA seriously anyway because according to their commercial they think parents are all “extremists”, so of course they would attack a parent union.

As parents we want to make sure the union doesn’t ever have the control they did in 2021 by keeping the masks on our kids unnecessarily then claiming that all the kids were fine and it caused no problems. They would have kept your kids masked forever. The NJEA even called ending the mandates Education Malpractice. When January comes around again, will the NJEA insist on re-masking your kids and will the NJEA BOE members just agree to whatever the union wants?

This is why parent’s need to get into office.

The Township of Ocean Education Association (TOEA) is concerned about the number of parents running for BOE, so much that they are now going to screen and endorse candidates for BOE. I hope they realize if they do, the union endorsed candidate can’t be involved in salary negation for 1 year, because that would be a conflict of interest.

One of my parent advocates got a hold of the TOEA meeting agenda and, of course, in the first paragraph they start name calling parents as having an “anti-education agenda.” Creating a fear based tone just like at the NJEA President’s meeting.

God forbid, we let you anti-education, extremist parents get involved in your children’s schools.

Its insulting. I expect more from educators, but do expect this type of rhetoric from union members.

After using this plea of irrational based fear, the TOEA goes on to claim that with the help of 800 NJEA members that “we can win any election we want for anyone, if we want.” For them, its all about winning, fear based lies, prioritizing the budget and NOTHING ABOUT THE KIDS.

They don’t care about your kids. This agenda makes it crystal clear.
