#WINNING
School districts in the Garden State were victorious this week when the courts ruled that Policy 5756 is not mandatory. As a result, districts involved in the lawsuit (Middletown, Marlboro, and Manalapan) can now drop the policy. Now is the time to urge your district to do the same. This controversial policy allows teachers to withhold information from parents about a child’s gender identity and permits schools to maintain hidden records.
However, that’s not how it’s being reported by the media, Garden State Equality, and the ACLU. They are claiming the victory.
Liar Liar Pants on Fire
One can assume these organizations need to maintain the appearance of victory to keep the cash flowing from radical donors—funding used to impose mandates on you and your kids. As for the media, well, they always lie, or get it wrong.
The Truth Will Set You Free
The truth is - our attorney general was playing games with the districts for Eighteen months trying to convert a temporary injunction on 5756 into a permanent one. The appellate court ruled that the AG overstepped its authority by preventing the districts from rescinding 5756. This is a clear and significant victory, regardless of how the media or others try to portray it.
Attorney General Platkin created widespread confusion among districts across New Jersey, leading them to believe they couldn’t drop Policy 5756. However, the truth is that this policy was never mandatory to begin with—that’s why North Hanover was able to drop it before the injunction. Now, heavily funded activist groups and the media are working together to keep this falsehood alive, discouraging schools from taking the opportunity to drop the policy immediately.
If Middletown BOE lacked the courage to challenge this policy, the truth about Strauss Esmay and the Department of Education pushing false mandates on New Jersey children and families might have never come to light. Without this lawsuit, their deception would have gone unchecked. Districts and parents must stop believing these lies, stand up for the truth, and eliminate Policy 5756 once and for all.
The courts only made it clear that you could not modify the policy, you could only drop it so Middletown took the opportunity to finally abolish 5756 last night.

Are you confused about why the state is suing Manalapan, Marlboro, Middletown and Hanover over Policy 5756 (the Transgender Policy) if it is not a required policy?
