How many government agencies must be involved to prevent parents from criticizing New Jersey schools? According to members of the United States Military, they need to involve the following agencies:
The North Hanover Police Department
New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness
Burlington County Prosecutor's Office of Counter-Terrorism
New Jersey State Police Regional Operations Intelligence Center
In December, we broke the unbelievable story about the military engaging the North Hanover police to silence a mom when she posted on Facebook about posters hanging in her district's Upper Elementary School. Her crime, she didn’t think her six and seven-year-old children were age-appropriate to be exposed to words such as polysexual and pansexual while attending an elementary school, “Math Night.” I know, the bigotry.
At the time, we assumed that one rogue military personnel decided to take things too far; however, an OPRA request just revealed the extent of the collaboration between the military, the police chief, and MANY OTHER government law enforcement agencies. The documents below, now public, prove that the full force of the government was used to intimidate and silence a mom who spoke out to protect her kids.
High-ranking Lt. Col. Megan Hall used her position of power and authority to silence the mom from North Hanover. Hall sent an email to the superintendents of North Hanover and Northern Burlington Regional, describing the mom’s post in a negative and false light and alleging a security threat that NEVER EXISTED. The type of behavior highlighted in Hall’s email erodes public trust and undermines the credibility of the military as a neutral and non-partisan institution.
The email chain between the military and the police chief snowballed into a hysterical frenzy of military officers calling on their contacts in other law enforcement agencies to figure out how to silence a concerned mom and get this information out of the view of “extremist groups.” Apparently, they considered THIS publication one of these dangerous groups. To be clear, New Jersey parents run Chaos and Control. “Extremist group” apparently means anyone who doesn’t blindly follow the leftist’s agenda to sexualize our children. Based on these emails, parents who speak out against what is happening in our schools will be met with the full wrath of the government.
On behalf of the military, Chief Duff used his official government position to coerce the removal of the mom’s post on the Fresh Faced Facebook page. I assure you, the post was not “respectfully” removed. Unless respectful means the He also vowed to get “additional posts removed.” Chief Duff might need a lesson on the First Amendment.
After the police chief managed to get the post removed from the main Facebook page, the military still wasn’t satisfied and was going after more Facebook posts in other groups.
The United States Army, Air Force, Department of Homeland Security, The New Jersey State Police, and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s office are being used to intimidate and silence parents who speak out against the education system. Using the government in this capacity sends a chilling message to parents who want to advocate for their children’s education. It also undermines the democratic process and stifles free speech, which is essential for a healthy and functioning society. Parents have a right to voice their concerns, and the government must respond in a manner that upholds the principles of democracy and free speech. The future of education and the well-being of our children depend on a strong and vibrant system that listens to the voices of all stakeholders, including parents.
The military has no jurisdiction outside of their base and anybody who sent an email from their military email is using their position and not as a private citizen. Each and every one of those people needs to be removed from their positions. The Chief of Police has no business contacting private citizens and telling them to remove their social media posts as that is a violation of their First Amendment Rights. The mayor should have immediately removed the Chief of Police. Unfortunately, the only way to put these people in their places would be in the court system. While I'm not entirely optimistic about the court system in NJ I think this would have to happen in the Federal Court System. The most troubling statement made in those emails was the comment related to "right wing" extremist groups. There are parents of all political affiliations who are troubled about what they are seeing. It's obvious that the schools in many regions are trying to assert their control over the kids by destroying the parent/child bond. It's exactly what every Communist country does.
I will ask my sister, a General in the USAF, to see if it's normal protocol for the military to involve itself in local school board issues. I think I know the answer but we'll see.
