That's not a student walk out

That's a straight up Nazi March like in Skokie Illinois

That is not covered under 1a

Our country is at a dangerous tipping point when young students are allowed to protest and promote terrorist organizations sanctioned by the school, while in a public school.

Mathgoddess has done excellent work keeping us abreast of what's going on in our schools, but regarding Israel and Palestine, we need some balance.

Firstly, the flyer for the Teaneck HS walkout says "Do not stay silent during a genocide." Nowhere does Mathgoddess refer to said genocide. Can we compromise, and call it mass murder? Have you seen photos? (1)

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports, as of 12/14/23:

Palestinians reported killed: 18,412; reported injured: 50,100; housing units destroyed: in Gaza: 52,100; Displaced in Gaza: 1.9 million (UN estimate). (2)

This mass murder is not merely targeting Hamas. This is a clear "mowing of the lawn" by the state of Israel to ethnically cleanse and genocide Palestinians in Gaza. (3)

Israeli state officials do not think highly of Palestinians, and they do not hide the fact. Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu said on a radio show that nuclear weapons would be "one way" to handle Gaza. (4). In 2018 former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett "said Israeli troops should have a 'shoot to kill' policy, including for minors...Asked about the army targeting children, he replied: 'they are not children. They are terrorists. We are fooling ourselves.'" (5)

The hold which Israel has over U.S. Congress is undeniable. Creating a resolution to censure Rashida Tlaib for "promoting false narratives...and calling for the destruction of Israel" is not only a misrepresentation of her views but also a travesty against free speech. Tlaib noted the death toll in Gaza surpassing 10,000 and she denounced the killing happening on both sides; she also rightly pointed out that "no government is beyond criticism," including that of Israel. (6)

A deeper assessment of the phrase "from the river to the sea" reveals a wish by a Palestinian majority as well as by former PLO head Yasser Arafat "to make ALL of Palestine ("from the river to the sea") a secular democratic state in which Jews and non-Jews would be equals under the law and live in peace with each other." (7) But even if Palestinians are wishing for the destruction of Israel, how can one blame them in the light of the current massacres and destruction of buildings, infrastructure and hospitals (8) by Israel as well as the history of a 75-year Israeli occupation that began with the expulsion of 700,000 Arabs? (9)

Is it fair to designate Hamas more as a terrorist organization and less a group of freedom fighters defending indigenous people since Palestinians are unable to defend themselves from the bullets of the brutal IDF? (10) As historian Norman Finkelstein explains in a video at the 12:40 mark, in 2006, Hamas repeatedly attempted to resolve conflict with Israel peacefully, advocating a two-state solution; Israel's response? Actions it describes as "mowing the lawn." (11)

Israeli hostages taken in the October 7 attack by Hamas reported humane treatment (12) (13), while one survivor also reports that Israeli forces shot their own civilians, (14) in accordance with the Hannibal Directive (15). Military video also shows Israeli apache helicopters fired indiscriminately at fleeing attendees of the Supernova Music Festival. (16)

Israel itself was founded as a terrorist state, and the terror began well before 1948. Zionists attacked and murdered other Jews as well as Arabs, and indoctrinated teens to snitch on their parents if they opposed Zionist plans. (17)

I could go on, but regarding the issue of student protesting, Palestinian students and anyone supporting a ceasefire have a right to speak out about the slaughter taking place in Gaza at the direction of the Israeli government, and with US funding. (18) If parents oppose students doing so during school hours, let them protest peacefully after school.

We have reached a point where the targets of misinformation have changed. During the height of the Covid/masking/vaxxing mania, leftist liberals charged conservatives with spreading lies, but now conservatives disbelieve and ignore the left's calling out of terrorism by the Israeli state.

Not everything that emanates from the left is a lie, nor is everything reported by the right the truth.

I did not reference genocide or murder because the kids don't know what they are talking about. You don't get to talk out of school because bag things are happening in another land. They get their info from tik tok. I don't see them coming out for Darfur region of Sudan, or the Uyghurs from China. Complete silence on the Pakistan bombing that killed 23 people the other day and the suicide bombing at 2 mosques in Pakistan in September. The kids are useful idiots. They don't even know there are other wars going on. You also seem to act like there is only 1 conflict going on in the world. You are all Hyper Focused on Israel. Referencing propaganda aljazeera and the guardian makes me think that you are just here to keep up the Hamas propaganda. You know, Hamas, the ones who won't release all the civilian hostages but want the war to pause. Let me give you a clue, War is ugly. Once you understand that there is no way to have a nice war then you will understand why Hamas should have not ended the cease fire on October 7th

War is ugly? did you look at the photos? No kidding. I don't know that it's even fair to call it a war since the Palestinians are no match for the Israeli ground and air forces decimating Gaza. Hamas is the only defender they have at this point. Those other conflicts that you named are also unfortunate, but I don't think the Sudan Lobby, or the China Lobby or the Pakistan Lobby would be holding congressional hearings, pulling funding and attempting to silence speech if students and other Americans did protest. Students learn about wars in school. Why not let them be aware of a real one going on? We need to remain hyper focused on Israel, because with Biden's all-Jewish cabinet and the numerous neo-cons in our government who put Israel's interests first, our rights to openly criticize foreign and domestic policy is slipping away. People have lost jobs for not "standing with Israel" or "supporting terrorism" by calling out Israel's war crimes. Our Jewish/Zionist owned media and owned by Israel (AIPAC) Congress see to it that all we're fed is Israel state propaganda. And by the way, in addition to shooting children, Israeli forces have imprisoned children as well, before this current conflict. The real useful idiots are America's military, who, though they have the capacity and intention to fight for America, end up fighting Israel's wars of regional dominance.

You haven't been around that long have you? You think that Hamas terrorists are the only issue in Palestine, and that somehow Israel can shoot around the citizens while Hamas sticks their own people over their weapons. You need to study other conflicts throughout history and familiarize yourself with war within urban cities. You say things here that are ridiculous. The only useful idiot here is you spreading TikTok war propaganda from Hamas and AlJerzira. You bought lock stock and barrel into cultural Marxism and the fight for the oppressed, which is the entire point of this article. You vomit back concepts that you don't even understand. If you said that we shouldn't spend money on other countries wars then I would tend to agree with you. But you didn't, you went right into picking a side, just like all the teens (who don't have fully developed brains) are doing who are mis-educated by the internet. I don't have the time to fight with other people's kids so keep this conversation in your home with your parents.

I have been aware of the situation in Occupied Palestine for years. Israel is an apartheid state. Norman Finkelstein's description of Gaza is as follows: 25 miles long, five miles wide, "a tiny parcel of land" and one of the most densely populated places on God's earth"; half of Gaza's population is children; "70% of Gaza consists of refugees from the 1948 War, that is, Palestinians who were expelled from the area that became Israel"; A blockade has been going on since 2006; the unemployment rate is 50% and the inhabitants suffer "extreme food insecurity"; Israeli senior official Giora Eiland said in 2006 that Gaza "is a huge concentration camp." (1)

You think the IDF and special forces are trying to shoot "around the citizens"? Killing Israeli citizens by Israeli forces is useful because they can then blame the deaths on Hamas. As far as Palestinians go, Israeli forces are genociding them rather than just targeting Hamas. John J. Mearsheimer, author and University of Chicago Professor of Political Science notes that "Israel is purposely massacring huge numbers of civilians, roughly 70% of whom are women and children. The claim that Israel is going to great lengths to minimize civilian casualties is belied by statements from high level Israeli officials. For example, the IDF spokesman said on 10 October 2023 that ‘the emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy.’ That same day, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced: ‘I have lowered all the restraints – we will kill everyone we fight against; we will use every means’.” (2)

Mearsheimer also describes the intent to deprive Gazans of vital resources: “Defense Minister Gallant’s comment on 9 October captures Israeli policy. ‘I have ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we are acting accordingly’.” (3)

I further quote Mearsheimer as he describes how Israeli leaders, already demonstrated by Gallant’s remarks above, dehumanize Palestinians. He cites a You Tube video to support this. “…it is commonplace for Israeli leaders to refer to Palestinians as ‘human animals, human beasts,’ and ‘horrible inhuman animals’”; additionally he cites a yahoo article with the title “Israeli President suggests that Civilians in Gaza are legitimate targets,” in which President Herzog claims ‘it is an entire nation out there that is responsible.’” (4)

Even the Israeli media report on civilian targeting, according to Mearsheimer. He cites two headlines, one from 972mag.com: “A Mass Assassination Factory: Inside Israel’s Calculated Bombing of Gaza,” and the other from Haaretz: “The Israeli Army Has Dropped the Restraint in Gaza, and the Data Shows Unprecedented Killing.” (5)

Speaking of using children as useful idiots, have you seen the video of Israeli children singing about destroying Gaza? (6) It was pulled from You Tube for violating its terms of service, but it can be viewed on the Electronic Intifada’s X (formerly Twitter) channel.

Writer Mike Whitney observes that “Zionists, particular see growth in the Arab population as a ‘demographic time bomb’ that threatens the future of the Jewish state. And that’s what the Gaza fracas is really about; getting rid of people but keeping the land.” (7) His conclusion is supported by a 2022 Times of Israel article which says “Jewish people make up less than 47 percent of all those living west of the Jordan River, an Israeli demographer warned Tuesday, claiming that most of the Israeli population is unaware of the democratic peril the country is sliding into by possibly becoming a ruling minority in the area.” (8)

The goal of removing Palestinians has been around for over 100 years, probably much longer. Whitney quotes founder of Zionism Theodor Herzl, who said in 1895, “We shall try to spirit the penniless population across the border by procuring employment for it in the transit countries, while denying it any employment in our own country…expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly.” (9)

Well, certainly nothing discreet or circumspect is being carried out now.

Notice that none of my sources here, listed below, nor the ones I listed in my original comment, are Tik Tok or sources emanating directly from Hamas. I did cite an Al Jazeera article in my original comment because I think it’s a legitimate news agency. At the very least, it’s only fair to hear both sides, although, no doubt, there are multiple sides. Are we to believe nothing Arab based can be trusted? Hamas is Gaza’s government which won fair and square in an election. It was allegedly supported and funded by Netanyahu as a way of keeping Palestinians in the West Bank separate from those in Gaza. (10)

As a government, then, Hamas gives out propaganda, as do all governments, including the US and Israel. I do my research through alternative sources because they report what mainstream sources, which are heavily, if not completely, Zionist owned, will not report. Israel can no longer claim to be targeting Hamas and doing its best to spare civilians. A majority of nations condemn the slaughter.

I picked a side, but I don’t see you calling the US or Christian Zionists useful idiots for picking Israel’s side. Israel tells the US to jump it is asks “How high?” To the tune of billions of dollars, obviously. The US will never waste an opportunity to profit from war. And what does war lead to? More immigrants to the US and Europe. Christian Zionists suffer the delusion of Israel as a holy land, and the alleged “word of God” in the Bible proclaiming Jews the chosen people. Anyone can write fiction and cast a religious aura around it, making all kinds of claims about what God wants.

I haven’t even touched on the geopolitical and deeper economic motives behind the conflict, although I already mentioned war profiteering. How developed does your brain have to be to understand genociding a civilian population and destroying their infrastructure, hospitals, mosques, universities, etc. is immoral? Which concepts are you saying I “don’t even understand”?

so you have no other interest in any other wars around the world, thanks for clearing that up for me. The useful idiots are those who are having in school protests. I don't see pro-Israeli protests at New jersey schools. please let us know when you see that. FYI you can post as many articles as you like. this is BEYOND THE SCOPE of this article so no one is reading it.

This war has my attention in particular because of the ramifications it has for college student speech and American free speech in general. Plus it’s being so widely reported on in all media, mainstream as well as alternative. I am fine having a dialogue with one person, whether anyone else is reading the posts or not. But our war against the trans agenda is an important one here and, as I said in my first comment, you do a hell of a job reporting on it.

Wait, what. People take your kids out of these schools. If you parents dont stop this by taking the kdis out of schools and forming your own homeschooling group, the your children will be damaged forever. Do you know what is in store for you once this takes place, big change and lots of suicides. How would any right minded parent allow this to happen. Almost a full year of this indoctrination and the teachers are disgusting, staff, principles, superintendents, no morals no values to follow a union instilling this garbage in your childrens lives. Complete demonic brain washing, first in history. Europe or any place in the world is not allowing this horrible training. Only US, maybe one other country. Its an outrage that its lasted this long all for the sake of having your child baby sat by a demonic system.. They are after the children, its pedofilia at the highest level and those pushing are in it very much.
