All around NJ, the stakes couldn't be higher in this year's board of education races. Parental rights are on the ballot and there are plenty of anti-parent lunatics funded and fueled by national political agendas dumping their money into k-8 School Board races. Towns like Middletown, Marlboro, Manalapan and Hanover have lead the way in parental rights and are certainty paying the price with attacks coming from all sides.

When the NJEA Calls You Shouldn't Answer
In 2020, many of our schools were led by progressive extremists and NJEA operatives working hand and hand to keep our kids locked down and masked. Under this extreme leadership, schools like Middletown championed masks, virtual school, quarantines, forced vaccinations and social justice gaslighting.
NJEA had been playing politics in our schools for decades and have become so comfortable with it that they don’t even bother to hide it anymore.
Mom and Dad Save the Day
Then along came a new breed of parent that stepped up to take back their schools back for their children. District parents like Middletown’s Jacqueline Tobacco and Frank Capone ran a platform of "Putting Children First" and overwhelmingly defeated the well funded political operatives serving the NJEA.
Fast forward 3 short years… Capone and Tobacco have completely changed the culture of the board in Middletown schools. This year, even more parents have joined in the fight, like Catarina Skalaski from Middletown. Parental involvement has been snowballing. We have come together to fight parental rights battles waged by Phil Murphy and his band of “political scientists” that started the culture wars in our schools.
This parent takeover has been replicated all over New Jersey, so with this growing grassroots effort to take back our school boards, you'd think Murphy and the NJEA would move on.
NAAAAAAAAA....
NJEA Calls in Reinforcements to Battle Parents
Tom Malinowski, former and defeated Congressman in the 7th district who along with Murphy and the NJEA dark money have started PACs and have recruited candidates all over NJ under monikers like "Be the Change" under Districts for Democracy PAC.
Candidates, often seen with similar colored signs and websites and displaying (poisonous) apples, are hand picked and recruited by another far progressive extremist Daniel Janowski from his Action Together PAC.
Studd and Meehan are NJEA teachers who have made it clear they plan on reversing the policies that have made Middletown schools parent centric to protect the kids. In addition, Meehan’s background may be problematic, he has a shady past of alleged multiple drug arrests and receiving stolen property. Del Sordi, is an ultra progressive who has transitioned her grade school child from one gender to another.
Not All Republicans are Your Friend
Republican Mark Soporowski is running against parental rights also. Parents all over the state have been cheering on Middletown in their fight against Policy 5756, all parents except this chooch. He cares more about money than his own right to raise his child. Anti-freedom Republicans should join up with the progressives and start their own party of people who love the state making decisions for them.
The ignorance of Soporowski in this next post is amazing. The bill passed under Christie NEVER said that schools had to lie to parents about their own children. The legislation supports developing a “confidentially” plan for the child. THAT does not mean keeping records from parents who have a LEGAL right to view them. A “confidentially” plan would be for the other students so they DO NOT KNOW which kid is trans, to make the transition easier on ALL the students. Additionally, the law says that transgender kids shouldn’t be forced to use a bathroom that they are uncomfortable with, which allows the to the schools to have trans kids use an alternative bathroom/locker room (NOT FORCE BIOLOGICAL BOYS ON GIRLS, IN THE GIRLS ROOM WHERE THEY UNDRESS).
All of this changed after Murphy got into office where, somehow, this law was misinterpreted by crazy people. The fact that Soporowski is going along with the misinterpretation is just as disturbing as it is annoying. This type of laydown needs to stay out of the schools.
If you want someone to fight for your kid’s rights… this guy ain’t it. One can only guess his views are aligned with the NJEA because wife is an NJEA member. How in the world can someone claim they have conservative values and just allow the state to take over like this?
Tomorrow if you live in ANYWHERE in NJ you must vote! Murphy and the NJEA are betting on low turnout to take back our School Boards. Don't be fooled by the drama in your town. Stay focused on keeping your kids away from progressive policies.
Great article as always, keep up the great work team and keep fighting for our kids!
