Seems like people have lost their mind, including the “scientists” at the CDC. Advising people to ask for vaccination proof or a rapid test before a a private dinner party is just insane. It was bad enough when when the CDC convinced the population to start doing this at weddings and concerts.
Mysophobia (germaphobia) seems to be the new trend these days. The pathological fear of germs, bacteria, uncleanliness, contamination, and infection is now an accepted main stream behavior. We use to call that “mental illness” now we call it “the new normal.”
Most people are trying to get on with life and are taking “risks” like traveling on the airlines and hanging out with friends and family. Most people want to get back to full normal life and no longer humor the mentally ill germaphobes. This is causing problems and fights among family, friends, customers and employees. For instance, FAA data shows more than 70% of verbal and physical altercations between passengers and staff were over masks.
So this all brings me to ask, between friends, family and travel: how are your Thanksgiving holiday plans going?
My Thanksgiving this year will be completely normal, as it was last year - full family gathering and enjoying a wonderful meal. Thank God my entire family knows what this is all about - and it is not about our safety and well being. I feel very blessed that my family, my husband's family, and all of our close friends are like minded. When we are sick, we stay home. When we are not, we live our lives - no masks, no social distancing, no contact tracing!
This has been the case for us with one exception - Easter last year, where we did skip our gathering to see what this was all about. Three weeks after that life resumed and so did all family gatherings.

Sadly, my family members have unvaxxedaphobia. Praying the mass-psychosis will end soon.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
That's absolutely insane. The only holiday we missed was easter 2020, huge gatherings with family and friends when we please. Happy Thanksgiving
