Kristen’s Top Ten Marching Orders
Our Supreme Leader issued a unified ruling today, rendering all efforts to petition our local leaders for mask-optional plans to be moot.
You know, he’s not from here. I don’t think he knows about how much NJ bureaucrats and school administrators love for the "home rule" concept that creates so many repetitive, overlapping, high-compensation leadership roles for each municipality. With over 500 School Districts in New Jersey, Governor Murphy just established the potential to eliminate hundreds of local Boards of Education and Superintendents in one fell swoop.
Why all the principals and superintendents and Education directors? Let’s just centralize, streamline, and save the budget and fix our pension crisis! If every decision comes from mandates above, who needs an elected Board to represent us? If our BOEs are truly powerless to effectuate their local constituencies’ wishes, or to protects the children from unjust mandates, then let’s abolish them! I think we have a solution here.
You know, if we fire all the repetitive supervisory positions, I bet we could also increase teacher salaries AND offer vouchers for parochial and home instruction parents. Wouldn’t that offer the best of both worlds! Public school=indoctrination centers for the State. Weirdos at home? Here’s a few thousand bucks. Stay in your house and teach your weirdo values.
Well, before we get ahead of ourselves, there’s a few things we try first.
1. Don’t give up on your BOE yet. Your BOE CAN refuse the State aid and refuse to enforce the unjust mandates. Go to the meeting. Demand it. Tell them to step down if they do not have the courage to stand up for you.
2. Send our Demand letter. Send your BOE and Superintendent our sample letter and declare your child to be exempt. Give them a deadline for a response time.
3. Unenroll. Your kid=$$$$. Your IEP kid=$$$$$$$$$$$. Remember, if you unenroll a child with an IEP, you lose that IEP if you re-enroll and must re-start the process.
4. Pod up or homeschool. See our website. Pods are forming. Thank Caitlin Cunningham, a CAC volunteer for setting up a state wide pod connecting system. We will have homeschooling experts available by zoom as soon as Sunday.
5. Strike. Affect the economy. Quit your job, pod with another parent, share resources.
6. Join a campaign. Down ballot candidates can use volunteers, donors, and supporters.
7. Register new voters. Get your family on board.
8. Call the sitting Legislators in your District. Demand meetings, help with exemptions, and that they issue statements in opposition to the mandate. Ask them to call an emergency session to revoke the Bill that gave Murphy these powers.
9. VOTE THEM OUT.
10. RUN YOUR MOUTH. Be not afraid.
Today may be the first time you became aware of how school will look for your child in September. It’s not too late to join the cause. Sign up on our website to receive updates, newsletters, videos, and other resources as we lead the charge for freedom in schools.
Welcome to the team, tiger parent.
Love this, solid effort. We need 10,000 people just like YOU! Thank you.
