Done. This is the response from Holly Schepisi: "We have heard from many concerned constituents regarding the possible extension of Governor Murphy's executive powers related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Today, he stated during his press conference that he is requesting that the Legislature grants him a 90-day extension. It is my firm belief that in doing so, the Legislature would be further abdicating its legislative functions and therefore, I will be voting NO on such a request. In the interest of good government, I believe that we must continue to have open and transparent conversation among members of the Legislature in order to best handle issues relative to public health and in order to do this, we must invite testimony from members of the public. I have been outspoken over the last 18+ months and steadfast in my position that we cannot continue to be shutout from these crucial decisions which impact us all. In the interest of my constituents and our children, I will absolutely be voting NO."

Thank you for writing concerning this very important issue. I oppose extending the executive emergency order and will vote against any bill expanding it. I continue to oppose all vaccine and mask mandates.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion on Bill A5820/S3866. Here are all the Legislators who voted to empower Governor Murphy last June and are most likely to grant him the extension. You can count on Assemblyman Bergen voting no and speaking out against Bill A5820/S3866.
