Here in Rutherford, Bergen County, it has been active since last school year and that sadly isn't going to change. Parents in this community are all for it. I'm still baffled as to why 7th graders need to learn about intercourse but unfortunately, that's the way it is. Kids no longer get to be kids. Opting out is pointless as the children will be talking. If you are in the same situation, make sure you request all materials being used in the course as I did.
