I was at one BOE meeting, and they were all so excited about how yes, our school is so diverse! and inclusive! Yippee!! As in... we have lots of ethnic/racial/religious/socioeconomic variety, and yeah, everyone is nice and it's inclusive... and no one cares if someone else is gay, or Jewish, or whatever the heck the kids (KIDS!) identify as...
I was like "DUH," do any of you PhDoDo's know that Diversity Equity and Inclusion is NOT what that means? Anyone? ANYONE? Buehler?
You literally sit at these meetings sometimes and just stare at them...back then, all in their fool masks...I find myself speechless. Do I go up to the mic to EXPLAIN that DEI is not "yay, we are so diverse and inclusive, woo hoo!" My jaw would drop. I couldn't even laugh, or smack my forehead. Just speechless.

I think all Supers who want this info taught should be forced to sub in and teach those topics THEMSELVES. They have the teaching credentials, right? I wanna see middle aged men teaching little girls about anal sex. In a mixed classroom, no less.
HOW ABOUT WE JUST TEACH THEM TO BRUSH THEIR TEETH CORRECTLY and maybe even how to do their own laundry and help mom make dinner...wouldn't that be more useful and inclusive?
