Step Up for the Kids, Lace Up Your Sneakers and Run for the School Board Because Saving NJ Schools is a Team Sport!"
Make real change by running in local New Jersey elections.
New Jersey public schools have taken quite the wild turn since our high standard academic days when we were in school. Since 2020, it's like we have entered an alternate universe where bullying is handled with a cozy chat over hot cocoa while raking sand in a zen rock garden (thanks, restorative justice), the library's stacks have turned into a stock pile of "50 Shades of Gray for Kids" (Right to Read Act) and sex-ed is now basically a handbook on how to maximize you and your partner’s pleasure with optimized slap and tickle techniques while promoting the dignity of an adult’s chosen gender and sexuality combo(New Jersey Sex-Ed state standards). Who's to blame for this delightful chaos? The big, bumbling New Jersey Department of Education.
But wait, it CAN BE FIXED! New Jersey has “home rule” where local school board officials are responsible for hiring staff that will reflect the values of your community by adopting policy, developing curriculum and purchasing material that is more geared towards academics and less focused on social engineering.
