I just finished watching the Old Bridge BOE meeting/February 20 2024….I was particularly impressed by the speaker of the end of the public portion at 10 pm …Carolyn M. She really hit all the important points of what we want for our kids in school and the importance of parents being in the communication loop. Two of the three newly elected Old Bridge BOE members, Elena Francisco and Kristina Mazzone also gave very smart, clear, informative and concise responses prior to the vote to rescind Policy 5756. If you have a chance, watch this board meeting.
It really is sad how many (allegedly) intelligent adults are utterly clueless to the meaning of things they cry loudest about - separation of church and state, offensive language, certain words, unrelated, but right up there with freedom of religion - "give me your poor...." And most are too ignorant to even know they should be embarrassed.
