The only reason the CDC recommends masking is because Walensky answers to Weingarten, as shown by emails from last May when the CDC recommended AGAINST masking in fall 2021, and Mrs. Weingarten called Rochie to tell her they'd condemn the CDC...and the CDC reversed their recommendation. As if EITHER of them had a crystal ball - why deciding in May what will be for September? Unless...it has ZERO to do with health and safety! The Harvard MD head of the CDC with decades of experience and previously Chief of Infectious Disease at Mass General somehow answers to Randi Weingarten at NEA. Which translates to the state level.
