Whales are not the only problem, unfortunately. These wind turbines will dramatically impact commercial fishing in New Jersey because of the danger they pose. Even if they are "allowed" to fish among these huge turbines, it's so dangerous that they won't be able to get insurance, and it is my understanding that even the coast guard won't commit to rescuing them because of the danger. So now we won't just lose the whales, we will also lose a critical food source, and a significant NJ industry. And who knows what these massive structures will do to migration paths, marine life and the entire oceanic ecosystem. These turbines only have a lifespan of 25 years, and Murphy is aware that we will need to buy energy credits because they can't supply nearly enough energy for us.

The Save Our Shore group I think is the name - has been trying to shine light on this since the last gubernatorial primary - money is flowing to power people in both parties not just Phil
