I was there last night and you hit the nail on the head and said it way better than I could. I sat there thinking, if I had hosted this event in secret and parents found out the cops would be knocking on my door, taking me away in handcuffs. Spot on that these kids have had zero limits and boundaries and parents chose to say yes to everything.

Moore is a cancer to our community and needs to be fired.

Disgusting and a disgrace. What does he mean exactly that schools which don't allow inclusion are worse off? Loving parents ideas of inclusion are good and wholesome, accepting of others. Again, this is what these extremists do, they double speak and tell lies. Total gas lighting. Boycott outside the school everyday.

This super is only creating more division among the students and staff. I feel sorry for all of them.

Thank you for this info. I’ve been attending Wayne BOE meetings, spoken a couple times. You added insight to the manipulation of children by so called adults. It’s sick and these poor children suffer by the harm inflicted upon their innocence not only by some school personnel but also by parents you mentioned. Gut wrenching. God created each of these little ones. They are all His children to.

I feel so sorry for the parents who aren't cheering this on and have to continue sending their kids to this s-hole. Can't imagine how that would feel. Helpless

Who in the hell chose Nicole "Mathgoddess" Stouffer as chief parent of New Jersey?

And who is she to pass judgment on the supposed permissivess of parents?

And finally, what authority gives this helicopter mom the right to question the rights of children who do not share her DNA?

In one of the most condescending pieces of illiteracy I have ever seen written (see link), this alleged college graduate pontificates on Monday night's Flemington Board of Education meeting. Flemington is the home of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, where a student organization recently staged a drag show, much to the consternation of Stouffer, the self-styled moral conscience of Burlington County, who took it upon herself to travel north to Hunterdon County. Now, she had the right to be there, no one disputes that. But her morals DO NOT give her the right to condemn students, parents and a school board that does not operate according to her self-righteous, bigoted value system.

She starts off with the following blanket statement: "Parents and other adults are excessively permissive all the time". First of all, "excessively permissive" is a matter of perspective. She uses some examples of what permissivess is, and I would agree with her (has hell frozen over?) that some of her examples are accurate. I would disagree, however, with her assertion that a parent is neglectful for giving permission for their teenager to get a tattoo, as the law says that is permitted with said consent.

But then comes her inflammatory comments referring to the BOE meeting, such as "kids stood at the podium wearing their rainbow flag and state-issued slave mask to support the school’s lack of limits and boundaries and defend the district’s decision to allow teen drag shows on campus during class time". Hey, Medford Moron, they're not "slave masks", they're protective health equipment. Just because you choose to allow your daughter to go maskless does not mean everyone has to. And I wonder what Black students at HCRHS think about your racist characterization of them? And it's been documented that the drag show was an EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY, which by definition means it did NOT occur "during class time". As to your judgment that the school demonstrated a "lack of limits and boundaries", that's for them to judge, not you.

She goes on: "Where were their parents? Cheering it on". No, they were supporting their children's right to stand up for themselves and speak to the Board on their own behalf. Unlike your own daughter (apparently), these teens have minds of their own and have exercised the right to speak for themselves. And here's more: "To all the teens and parents who think drag show’s aren’t sexual, I’d like you to watch Rue Paul’s drag race and count the number of dick jokes and sexual innuendos in each episode". First of all, his name is RuPaul (which, by the way, is his actual real name--Rupaul Andre Charles). Secondly, "RuPaul's Drag Race" is not programmed for children, and has every much the right to be broadcast as programs such as religious sermons--where the REAL indoctrination takes place.

Most of the rest of her bullshit is her usual homophobic, hypocritical tripe. I could spend hours dissecting her drivel line by line but I think the point has been made.

But there's one other thing that needs to be addressed: "It was bothersome to see some people even use the recent tragedy of the mass murder at the Colorado Springs nightclub to justify drag shows in school". I Googled this absurd allegation and, no surprise here, found no evidence of any such comparison. But there goes Stouffer again, using trigger words to make bogus comparisons that fit her homophobia. And "Adults have every right to go to gay nightclubs and be safe. One thing has nothing to do with the other". Well, if that's the case, what's the reason for your diatribe? There were no minors present at the LGBTQ nightclub that suffered an unspeakable tragedy. And by the way, Mathgoddess, why couldn't you have written words of sympathy for the dead and wounded, and a condemnation of the attack? Is your computer not programmed for those words?

And her final comments once again confirm her bigotry: "you can hear (Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeffrey) Moore’s bloviated speech, he sung the magical phrase that will get your self indulgent teen anything they want from their school: equity and inclusion. The rest of the video is the public comments where you can hear the pain and divide in this school". Right, because equity and inclusion are such terrible things to want. You see, Stouffer, people are opening their eyes and see what a homophobic, transphobic, racist bigot you really are. And as for the "pain and divide", the pain comes from the students who have felt marginalized by prejudices such as yours, and the divide comes from people like you, Nicole, who do NOTHING to promote inclusion.

As a friend of mine said to me, "she is an unhinged, crazy batshit woman". I agree 100 percent--no, make that 1000 percent.
