As always, you are 100% correct. In fact I just read an article about this, supporting everything you said. The article states, “Various groups of adults (ranging from the merely unhelpful to the frankly predatory) are deeply involved with promoting the medicalization of these young people who are exploring their identities in a totally age appropriate way, and have turned this into the biggest medical scandal.” The groups listed: activists (like garden state equality in NJ), TEACHERS, and politicians (paging Gov. Murphy). Parents need to wake up and speak up!

In the book Reviving Ophelia it discusses how teen girls may have an attraction to females. It's not sexual it's part of development, but somehow they've convinced kids it's because they are gay.

I need to pull it out and read it again.

Keeping my fingers crossed my teen will come through this as she begins High School and see what occurred.

I honestly feel like we need a parent support group for parents encountering this.

How to debrief them from the indoctrination.

Well done! I wish I had seen this coming. We limited TV,had close relationships with peers parents and limited online usage.

We the lock down occurred it threw my pre teen into a depression. She talked mostly with a peer who had moved away. This peer was exposed to these things and my daughter started Jr High dressing completely different. We did find on Pintrest of all places that she had LGBTQ flags pinned and cute little frogs to symbolize this.

Teen girls are so fragile and peers play a BIG role. Keep and eye on who peers parents are and how their kid is developing into teen years.

It's been a mess for over a year.

I thought we did everything right and kept close tabs, but peers are important to them. This awkward age is difficult under normal circumstances and now we are at war to protect our kids from this and so much more.

I take it one day at a time and tell her she doesn't need any labels whatsoever at 13.

The link to the article "Transgender Student Guidance for School districts" isn't working. Did they remove that article from the website? I can't find the PDF anywhere on Google. I wanted to ask my school board if they follow that policy where parents are not being told if their children are changing their genders/pronoun/names whilst in school. Isn't this a potential liability for the school district? If a kid is having gender issues and the teachers/guidance counselors/coaches etc. know about it and keep it hidden from the parents, and let's say the kid commits suicide; the parent was never given an opportunity to take the kid to see a doctor or phycologist because this important information was kept hidden from the parent.

There's after school groups like gay straight alliance, it's disguised as a group promoting peace and understanding but it's not. I was shocked that my kids school had one. It's mostly targeting girls. On a side note in the 80s the equality movement started for women...it became we don't need men to we can have babies without them, and now its we ARE men. Womens self esteem has been under attack for so long. First porn, then plastering stick thin, computer generated faces, the giant breast implant craze, reality tv, social media likes and followers etc. No wonder young girls feel so insane. They have been laying the foundation for decades. It's an assault on the mind, body and soul. We need to shut this crap down now and preserve families. Women are so ego centered that they arent even getting married or having babies anymore.
